It's Harvest Season.

Harvest is upon us. Premier Cooperative’s Grain Division is prepared to receive what we hope to be a bountiful crop this year. We have spent a lot of time doing preventative maintenance to ensure quick unload times at each location. This will help ensure limited breakdowns during the busy harvest season.

As we begin harvest, our members can help us prepare. We receive several calls about incoming loads that can now be easily accessible through our mobile friendly login called POCKT. You can log into your phone or computer by using your current eagvantage login credentials. The new app gives you access to see contract balances, load information, settlement information and proof of yields. We currently apply member loads at the scale, giving you access to your weight tickets as soon as they are printed.

When receiving grain, we need to know the following information:

  • Who owns the grain?
  • Is the load to be split?
  • Do we need to include special field notes?
  • How to apply the load? (grain bank, priced, contract)

This will help speed up the process at the scale and during payment. If you are a new member looking to deliver grain please complete the new account application online prior to delivery. You can also contact your local cooperative to complete account set-up.
Any member looking to receive payments for grain quicker than a check are welcome to complete our direct deposit grain form found on our website, premiercooperative.com. For those members looking for on-farm pick up, we will operate the same as we did last year. Your advance notice is much appreciated when securing resources to help improve our logistics service. We look forward to a safe and successful harvest this fall.

For now, tariffs are messy as there are more questions than answers. Outside of the tariff news, fertilizer market news continues to reflect the narrative and trend from the first of the year.
